Triadvocates is seeking to recruit a Public Affairs Advisor to join its Phoenix office. It is anticipated that this position will provide client service support in all three business lines – policy and advocacy; government marketing; and economic development – with principal emphasis in one business line depending on the candidate’s background, interests and skills, and the needs of our clients.
Candidate Profile
• The ideal candidate will have a college degree plus at least two years of direct government experience, but preferably diverse experience that includes government, political and community service at either the federal, state or local level.
• Desired skills and experience include strong research and analytical skills, the ability to distill complex information into digestible messages, general awareness of economic development policies and procedures, superior writing and presentation skills, creativity and strong interpersonal skills, strong office technology/productivity skills, capability in tracking and publishing in various social media outlets, and a passion for understanding issues at the intersection of government and business.
• Key policy areas that this position may cover include economic development, education, energy, healthcare, land use, procurement, regulation, technology, and water/environmental quality.
